To add or update your telephone number, navigate to the Profile tab on the left-hand side of your Callwell screen.
This will open the Edit Profile screen, as shown below, where you can amend existing numbers or add a new one.
When adding a number, you’ll be prompted to configure the following settings:
• Telephone number - The number Callwell will dial to alert you of a new enquiry.
• Number type - Assign a label such as Office, Mobile, or DD to help identify the number.
• How the number appears - Choose how your number is displayed to the person you’re calling. For example, you may use your direct dial but prefer the customer to see your branch number.
• Play a DTMF tone when the call is made - Enables Callwell to navigate automated call menus. For instance, if your branch uses a call journey like “Press 1 for Sales, 2 for Lettings,” and you work in Sales, select: Delay 5 seconds then play DTMF tone 1.
Once configured, click Save and ensure your correct Active Number is displayed in the top right-hand corner of your Callwell screen.
